Concept designed for BBDO NY client Bacardí

The Problem

Bacardí needed a refresh for their brand’s visual identity on social media. The existing frames and templates were either thin, static red or gold lines that lacked energy, or overly thick borders overwhelmed with foliage illustrations. The task was to modernize and revitalize these elements.

The Insight

Graphic elements add ability, brand recognition, and visual interest to our social presence. However, too much usage of these elements can create a cluttered and overwhelming feed.

The Solution

Frames are an essential design element that complements the subject matter and colors in the photography. A simple, square stroke is applied, using a color selected from an element in the image. This ensures the stroke enhances the photo without overpowering it.
